The 3dBody Release lessons focus on the fascial strain patterns around the joints. Think of blocked vertebrae, sore shoulders, aching wrists, stiff hips, knees and ankles ... We release these tensions in muscles and connective tissue by moving slowly and precisely in and around the joints. Pain in one place can be caused by pressure or tension elsewhere in the fascial lines, for example in case of pain in the knees, elbows and wrists. We therefore explore the long myofascial slings, also known as Anatomy Trains. Props and tools can be rollers, balls of different sizes and stretch bands.
Expect a relaxing and introspective 3dbody flow with aspects of Pilates, pole dance, yoga, Feldenkrais and swimming. We move in a flowing natural way, mainly on the floor. We stretch and strengthen our muscles and connective tissue and improve coordination and motility of the joints by flowing through slow spiraling sequences. Moving this way promotes fascia's natural elasticity and glide. This workout is pleasantly relaxing and brings you in touch with the deeper layers in yourself. After class, you’ll feel longer, more flexible and freer.3dBody® Release and Flow is based on, inter alia, the method of Structural Integration according to Ida Rolf and the Anatomy Trains myofascial meridians bodymap according to Thomas Myers. The body structure and the fascial tension lines are hereby brought into balance in relation to the force of gravity.
